Shutterfly’s Photo Story for iPad App can empower students to publish one-of-a-kind books using photos, text, drawings and audio.  This free app is ideal for Project Based Learning and enriching your classroom literacy program, while enabling students to achieve many of the College and Career Readiness Standards in English Language Arts, Science, Math, and Social Studies. Students are thrilled to create their books, and then see their writing, photos and drawings, and even voice recordings, come to life in print.  In this webinar for the edWeb.net Amazing Resources community, Technology Integration Specialist, Kim Thomas discussed how to stimulate excitement for writing through publishing and showed how easy it is to integrate Photo Story into your curriculum to create a love for writing in every student.

During this webinar, attendees learned about the new Shutterfly Photo Story App and how it is being used to engage students in the writing process.  They also had the opportunity to see lesson plans illustrating how teachers are using Photo Story in classroom projects to meet standards and engage students. View the webinar to see how Photo Story is creating excitement in the classroom, and how you can apply it to your lesson plans.
