However, regardless of situation, it really helps to have a clear vision of where you want to be. In this month’s webinar for the edWeb.net LMC @ The Forefront community, Mike Eisenberg and Bob Berkowitz, who previously presented a webinar on Big 6/Super 3 in March, shared the next steps for designing, creating, and managing a systematic Big6/Super3 Common Core K-12 information & technology skills instructional program. The Common Core provides part of the vision, but as Bob says, the Common Core is not a curriculum. Combining the Common Core and the Super3/Big6 provides the vision of an information and technology literacy program that reaches every student.  Mike and Bob began the session with a brief review of the Super3/Big6 and Common Core connection.  They answer some of the common questions that arise when it comes to the Common Core and Super3/Big6.  Mike and Bob discuss whether all of the Super3 and Big6 are included in the Common Core, if the Super3 and Big6 terminology or the Common Core language should be used, and how to assess Super3 and Big6 skills.
