“Apps are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’ll get.”

Today’s students are expecting more out of stories than they did in the past. They love engaging stories that they can interact with. Low-cost yet highly engaging interactive reading apps provide just this kind of reading experience for young learners.

In this webinar, teacher and trained blended learning expert Sarah Rich shared ways for you to better use interactive reading apps in your Pre-K to Grade 2 classroom to increase a variety of skills such as comprehension, receptive language, and vocabulary.

Learn about:

  • How to fit interactive reading apps into your literacy block
  • Ways of extending the use of these apps in your classroom
  • Tips for leveraging all these apps have to offer while keeping your costs down
  • A handful of low-cost interactive reading apps Sarah recommends to get started with in your classroom

Watch this recorded webinar if you want to get the most out of interactive reading apps with your young learners. This webinar will benefit PreK-2 teachers, librarians, administrators, reading coaches, literacy specialists, curriculum directors, and technology directors.

Everyone who signed up for this webinar will receive free access for the remainder of 2016 to Squiggle Park’s games that teach pre-reading skills to young learners.

Squiggle Park At Squiggle Park, we take video games seriously. Our bite-sized games are effective in building mastery through practice and play.

Children aged 4-7 enter a magical world where books come to life as they demonstrate a combination of reading skill accuracy, speed and context. As our game progress, the frequency of skills introduced adapts to the strengths and weaknesses of each child, reinforcing mastery.

Built for teachers to use in their PreK-2 classrooms or at home to reinforce curriculum through play. It’s simple, and it works.
