Getting ready for the upcoming school year and wondering how to embed digital citizenship into your classroom? In this interactive edWeb webinar hosted by the Digital Citizenship community, Dr. Marialice B.F.X. Curran, Associate Professor at the University of Saint Joseph, provided examples of how to get more student voice involved in digital citizenship project-based learning (PBL) throughout the school year. Marialice works with K-12 students and teachers, administrators, and parents to help students to think and act at a local, global, and digital level simultaneously. Through her research, she has found that the combination of student voice and PBL promotes a positive school climate.
