eBooks have become an essential component of the K12 curriculum. A successful shift toward digital means engaged students, teachers incorporating new resources into their lessons and enthusiastic administrator support. But how is this achieved?

High school librarian Joanna McNally and middle school librarian Betsey Lee, have successfully used eBooks in a range of situations. They showed how to get all of the stakeholder groups at your school on board with eBooks. Joanna and Betsey shared how to teach students to use eBooks meaningfully, how to help teachers incorporate them seamlessly into their teaching, and how to gain buy-in from administrators and parents.

Topics included:

  • How should an eBook program be managed?
  • How do you communicate the value of eBooks to teachers, administrators, and parents?
  • How do eBooks affect collection development?
  • How can you align eBooks to curriculum standards?
