Digital Footprint is a new buzzword and every librarian needs to understand what it is all about and why students should care.  As the Internet grows to be a bigger part of our lives, we should be aware of how data-mining is defining who we are – or aren’t.  In this webinar, Paige Jaeger discusses data mining, gross invasions of privacy, how to diagnos your digital footprint, and how this is an affront to our civil liberties.  This generation’s digital footprint typically stinks and students should find out why.  Learn how we may have contributed to this epidemic.  Paige also shares a “Digital Image Makeover” pilot and explains how to diagnos and prescribe remedies for digital bromhidrosis.  Some local area makeovers are showcased.
