edWeb’s Stop Bullying community held its May webinar on the legal repercussions of the bullying issue so many schools are facing. Bullying has become such a huge issue in our schools that lawmakers have tried to help by doing what they do best – make laws.  Webinar presenter, Shannon Holden, Assistant Principal, Republic Middle School, MO, examined the laws that have been passed in recent years, and how they can help educators as they wage war against bullies in their schools.  Attendees learned about the movement for a federal anti-bullying law, state efforts to combat bullying, and how the relevant legislation affects their classrooms.
