The Prek-3 Digital Learning community on edWeb.net was proud to host presenter Mark Schlichting in this month’s session. Mark, a veteran children’s designer and creator of Broderbund’s Living Books series, shared his insights and experiences from 25 years of creating award winning educational interactive content for children. Mark shared unique and interesting stories about his work with bringing books like Arthur and The Berenstain Bears to life, as well as what it was like to meet the authors. He discussed things he has discovered about interactive digital learning, methods for identifying and student driven programs that support time-on-task. He also talked about how integrating natural play patterns into learning enhances engagement. This webinar is presented by Mark Schlichting, Chief Creative Officer at Wanderful Interactive Storybooks and President of Noodleworks Interactive.
